I don't know how many people will really understand what this means to me, but my original Microsoft Natural Keyboard (the real one, not any of the stupid wannabes that they've tried to peddle in the intervening years) stopped working yesterday after about seven years of faithful service.

I'm going to attempt a repair, but since there was no drink spilled on it or any other obvious causal factor, I'm not very optimistic. There are only so many times a keyboard can be resurrected, and this one has been taken apart more than its share.
